While hanging out in a secluded area of Griffith Park, I decided to set up my digital recorder to pick up the ambient audio of the environment. The spot I picked was pretty close to a road that leads cars further down into the park towards the Mineral Wells and the train station.
What I didn’t realize was that directly above was a hiking trail embedded into the side of the rocky terrain. In this short audio clip I captured you can hear the occasional hiker walking by and talking with their hiking mates. I’m pretty sure I creeped a few of them out since I was standing in a secluded area all alone and they couldn’t see my cameras and audio recorder setup all around. But oh well. I guess being perceived as weird is a byproduct of documenting things.
