I've come across lots of forms of art over the past few years. I've also come into contact with the creators of those artworks and the observers that enjoy and appreciate them and their hard work. From graphic/web designers to illustrators. From musicians and performers to photographers and videographers. When one begins to analyze the world from a point of view in which everyone in it consists of creators who are viewed and admired by outside observers, the vastness and sophistication of the human experience from a creative sense begins to become clear.
I do a lot of things. Like seriously. Let's be honest here. I have my hand in tons of different creative outlets and I enjoy doing them all. Really, it's not so much about doing lots of stuff to show off but its more for the sake of just doing things and learning as much as I can because I can. I've said it before, I love learning and I love a good challenge.
I'll be the first to say that I'm no filmmaker, but I do love shooting a good video from time to time. Last week I purchased a camera slider and wanted to test it out and I knew exactly where to go to get some awesome footage. So early Saturday morning, I packed up all my gear and made the journey out to Griffith Park.
One of the best quotes that pretty much sums up my life as a working designer/developer up to this point is "Fake it 'til you make it." For years I've heard this quote being said over and over and thought it sounded funny (and kinda dirty, actually) but I never really paid too much attention to it.
